Soumen Das | Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Das has held the position of CEO since our inception in January of 1999. As founder and CEO, Mr. Das has provided the vision and managed the growth of the company from start-up through the completion of its technology and the subsequent year over year steady growth. Prior to founding UniteU, Mr. Das applied his MBA and Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics to his work at Xerox including various capacities ranging from product support and front line management in Europe and Latin America to technology and business strategy and operations at the forefront of Xerox digital and Internet initiatives. Mr. Das continually demonstrates to UniteU, its customers and partners a proven ability to apply information technology to solve real problems for the online retail industry.
Rebecca Ramme | VP Business Development
Ms. Ramme brings over 25 years of experience in building partnerships and in managing teams and projects for small start-up companies as well as with Fortune 500 corporations. She gained software engineering and technical documentation expertise with CRM and billing software company Cable Data, a subsidiary of USCS International Inc. With AT&T Wireless as Director of Distribution she was responsible for both retail and wholesale operations for Northern California. She also has experience as a senior consultant overseeing global projects that involved defining and implementing computer-based and web-based systems for companies such as Iridium, Nextel, Motorola and Sprint. Immediately prior to joining UniteU she was Director of E-Commerce for Retail Technologies International (now owned by Island Pacific) and was instrumental in establishing integration between their POS application, Retail Pro, and online commerce. With UniteU she has been responsible for sales, marketing and business partner relationships since 2001. Ms. Ramme regularly shares her ecommerce expertise with customers and partners and brings to UniteU a highly consultative approach to customer acquisition, retention and growth.
Eric Tyler | VP Operations
Mr. Tyler comes to UniteU with over 26 years of experience in various roles in high tech businesses at the Eastman Kodak Company. He has many years experience in product development / commercialization as a product development engineer, product development manager, project manager and worldwide product manager - primarily in the commercialization of digital business equipment and / or networked software systems. In addition to product commercialization experience, Mr. Tyler has several years experience in operations and business management - including expatriate assignments in Tokyo and London, where he was responsible for the European, African and Middle Eastern equipment service business for one of Kodak's business units. In his most recent position within Kodak, Mr. Tyler was a corporate subject matter expert on strategic marketing, product line strategy development and product commercialization best practices. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering, a Masters of Science in Computer Science and a Masters of Business Administration. At UniteU he is responsible for servicing and growing our customers.
Lou Leone | VP Technology Development
Mr. Leone has extensive experience in designing and developing advanced, large scale systems and software. His skills span web, security, client-server, network, operating systems and user interface design technologies. He is credited with creating top project development teams recognized for delivering on-time, within budget and to the highest quality and technical standards. Along with this comprehensive technical background, Lou has valuable business depth including strategic planning, marketing and business development. Prior tenures include VP Technology at PaeTec Communications, Inc where he established the technology organization, a software quality assurance team and ISO processes to ensure the highest quality development and fastest delivery of services to the market. He also founded Telperion Development Corp. where he built a specialized consulting, turnkey software development, systems maintenance, and support company with Fortune 500 clientele. He holds a Bachelors degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Rochester. At UniteU he is responsible for maintaining our technology edge through the application of state of the art solutions in our technology architecture and software development.
